Firetiger Dataplane Releases
This page lists all Firetiger releases by date. Each release contains important information about updates, migrations, and deployment procedures.
Release Steps
If this is a new deployment then follow the Deployment Guide.
1) Identify Versions
Identify two release versions in the list below:
- current version – this is the version currently deployed on your infrastructure
- next version – this is the version you want to deploy
Skipping versions is not supported! It is critical that the next version is the subsequent version to the current release.
2) Update Image Tags
Update Firetiger service container images to the next version, in this order:
- Catalog Server
- Commit Server
- Ingest Server
- Query Server, Sweepers, Optimizers
3) Monitor
As each service is updated, monitor metrics for changes to error rates and latency. Unless the release notes indicate otherwise:
- error rates should decrease or remain unchanged
- latency should decrease or remain unchanged
